New England Fights 20 will take place on Saturday night at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston, Maine and will be headlined by a title fight as Jimmy Davidson looks to win the lightweight title when he faces Bruce Boyington.
Davidson (7-1) trains out of Team Sityodtong and this will be his first fight since October of last year, which was a submission defeat against Leon Davis at CES MMA 26.
On Tuesday’s episode of The MMA Report Podcast, Davidson came on the show to talk about his fight on Saturday in Maine against Boyington and also explained how he got the nickname of “Jimbo Slice.”
