The co-main event of tonight’s Bellator 147 will be a key featherweight bout as Georgi Karakhanyan returns from injury to meet former Bellator title challenger Daniel Weichel.
Karakhanyan (24-4-1) returned to Bellator at the beginning of the year and defeated Bubba Jenkins. He was scheduled for fight for the title in June, but a knee injury forced him out of the fight.
On yesterday’s edition of The MMA Report Podcast, Karakhanyan was a guest on the show to talk about his fight tonight against Weichel and also talked about how the injury he suffered earlier this year made him a different fighter.
