The medical suspensions for UFC 194 have been released by the Nevada Athletic Commission and nine fighters on the card are facing a potential six month suspension.
The commission released the medical suspensions on Monday and the suspensions were forwarded to TheMMAReport.com after they were requested.
UFC 194 took place this past Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and was headlined by Conor McGregor defeating Jose Aldo by knockout to become the unified UFC featherweight champion.
The complete UFC 194 medical suspensions are below:
- Conor McGregor: Must have left wrist x-rayed, if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 06/12/16.
- Jose Aldo: Suspended until 02/11/16 and no contact until 01/27/16.
- Luke Rockhold: Must have left foot/ankle x-rayed, if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 06/12/16; minimum no contest until 01/12/16, no contact 01/03/16.
- Chris Weidman: Must have both feet x-rayed, if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 06/12/16; minimum no contest until 02/11/16, no contact 01/27/16.
- Yoel Romero: Suspended until 01/12/16 and no contact until 01/03/16.
- Jacare Souza: Must have left forearm x-rayed, if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 06/12/16; minimum no contest until 01/12/16, no contact 01/03/16.
- Gunnar Nelson: Suspended until 01/27/16 and no contact until 01/12/16 (nasal bridge laceration).
- Jeremy Stephens: Suspended until 01/12/16 and no contact until 01/03/16.
- Urijah Faber: Must have MRI of left knee and right ankle and left thumb x-rayed, if any studies are positive then must be cleared by a Dr or no contest until 06/12/16; minimum suspension no contest until 01/27/16, no contact until 01/12/16.
- Frankie Saenz: Suspended until 01/27/16 and no contact until 01/12/16.
- Tecia Torres: Must have left thumb x-rayed , if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 06/12/16; minimum no contest until 01/12/16, no contact 01/03/16.
- Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger: Suspended until 01/27/16 and no contest until 01/12/16.
- Colby Covington: Must have a CT Scan or MRI of right chest wall, if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 06/12/16; minimum no contest until 01/12/16, no contact 01/03/16.
- Kevin Lee: Suspended until 01/27/16 and no contact until 01/12/16.
- Joe Proctor: Suspended until 01/12/16 and no contest until 01/03/16.
- John Makdessi: Must have right thumb x-rayed, if positive then must be cleared by doctor or no contest until 06/12/16.
- Yancy Medeiros: Must have right knee sprain cleared by Orthopedic Dr. or no contest until 06/12/16; minimum no contest until 01/12/16, no contact 01/03/16 – left toe pain.
