A lightweight bout has been booked for UFC Fight Night 84 in Australia as Ross Pearson will meet Abel Trujillo.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Monday morning.
UFC Fight Night 84 will come from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia on Sunday, March 20 (Saturday, March 19 in North America) and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as Mark Hunt meets former UFC champion Frank Mir.
Pearson (18-10, 1NC) is coming off a lost against Francisco Trinaldo at UFC Fight Night 81 and he is 3-4, 1NC in his last eight fights. Trujillo (13-7, 1NC) scored a submission victory at UFC 195 against Tony Sims and he has won three of his last five fights.
