Rob Font will return to the octagon for the first time in over eighteen months on Sunday when he meets Joey Gomez on the UFC Fight Night 81 preliminary card on UFC Fight Pass.
Font (11-1) won a Performance of the Night bonus in his promotional debut at UFC 175 as he defeated George Roop by knockout in the first round and this will be his first fight since scoring a win in his UFC debut.
On yesterday’s edition of The MMA Report Podcast, Font was a guest on the show and discussed what he did during his eighteen month layoff and the change in opponent to Gomez for this event.
