A flyweight bout has been added to April’s UFC 197 fight card in Las Vegas as Chris Kelades is slated to meet Sergio Pettis on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was confirmed by the UFC following a report by the Metro News.
UFC 197 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 23 and will be headlined by a title fight rematch as Daniel Cormier defends the light heavyweight title against former champion Jon Jones.
Kelades (9-2) is coming off a win against Chris Beal in August and he has won two of his three fights in the UFC. Both of his wins in the UFC have come by decision and the other victory came against Paddy Holohan in 2014. Pettis (13-2) will also enter this fight following a win as he defeated Chris Cariaso at UFC 192 in October. He is 4-2 in the UFC and has gone 1-1 in the UFC 125 pound division.
