A bantamweight bout has been added to CES MMA 34 on April 1 in Connecticut as Rodrigo Almeida will meet Johnny Campbell.
The fight booking was announced by CES MMA on Thursday.
CES MMA 34 will come from the Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket Connecticut on April 1 and will be headlined by Chris Curtis defending the welterweight title against Nah-Shon Burrell.
Almeida (12-3) enters this fight following a lost to Bruce Boyington at WSOF 24 in October and the defeat snapped a seven fight winning streak. Seven of his twelve wins have come by stoppage and five of those wins have come by submission. Campbell (11-7, 1NC) has dropped back to back fights and the most recent defeat came in November against Tateki Matsuda. His last win came at the beginning of 2015 as he defeated Billy Giovanella by TKO.
