A women’s strawweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 87 card on May 8 in the Netherlands as Karolina Kowalkiewicz will meet Ultimate Fighter 20 alum Heather Jo Clark.
The fight booking was announced by UFC officials on early Monday morning.
UFC Fight Night 87 will come from the Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands and the event will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as Alistair Overeem will meet Andrei Arlovski.
Kowalkiewicz (8-0) made her UFC debut at the end of last year and defeated Randa Markos at UFC on FOX 17 by unanimous decision. It was her fifth career victory by decision and two of her three stoppage victories have come by submission. Clark (7-4) won her official UFC debut at the end of 2014 against Bec Rawlings at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. It was her second straight victory and this will be her first fight since that victory.
