A middleweight bout has been added to the UFC 199 fight card on June 4 in California as Ultimate Fighter 17 alum Kevin Casey will meet Elvis Mutapcic on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was recently added to the official fight card lineup on the UFC website.
UFC 199 will come from The Forum in Inglewood, California on June 4 and will be headlined by a title fight rematch as Luke Rockhold defends the middleweight title against former champion Chris Weidman.
Casey (9-4, 2NC) has gone 1-1, 2NC since returning to the UFC in 2014 and he enters this fight following a TKO lost to Rafael Natal at UFC on FOX 18 in January. His last win came in July of last year when he defeated Ildemar Alcantara by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 71. Mutapcic (15-4) made his UFC debut in January on short notice and lost a decision against Francimar Barroso. He has gone 7-2 in his last nine fights and one of those victories came against Cezar Ferreira.
