A featherweight bout has been booked for UFC 198 in June as Renato Carneiro will face Zubaira Tukhugov on the preliminary card .
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Monday.
UFC 198 will take place on May 14 at the Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil and will be headlined by a title fight as Fabricio Werdum defends the heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic.
Carneiro (9-0-1) made his UFC debut at the end of 2014 and defeated Tom Niinimaki by submission at UFC Fight Night 58. Five of his nine wins have come by submission and this will be his first fight since defeating Niinimaki. Tukhugov (18-3) is currently on a nine fight winning streak and three of those wins have come in the UFC. His most recent win came in December at UFC Fight Night 80 as he scored a split decision win against Phillipe Nover.
