The main event of tomorrow’s Shamrock FC: Retaliation event at the Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, Missouri will be a flyweight bout as Kendrick Latchman will look to win his fifth straight fight when he meets RFA vet Kevin Gray.
Latchman (5-1) is coming off a stoppage victory against Trevor Ward at Shamrock FC: Ultimate in December and all of his wins during his recent winning streak have come by TKO/KO. On yesterday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Latchman previewed his fight against Gray and talked about how he has seen everything Gray has to offer.
“He is a tough guy and I am not going to take anything away from him,” Latchman said. “But he is not bringing anything that I have not seen before or been against. I have fought guys like him a bunch of times and it’s nothing new to me. I train everywhere. I am not scared to go to the ground. Not scared to fight in the clinch. I am a well rounded fighter and I am prepared to fight anywhere the fight goes. I am comfortable anywhere.”
