Cat Zingano vs. Julianna Pena set for UFC 200

A women’s bantamweight bout has been added to the UFC 200 card in July as former UFC title challenger Cat Zingano will meet Ultimate Fighter 18 winner Julianna Pena.

The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday.

UFC 200 will come from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 9 and will be headlined by a welterweight bout rematch as Nate Diaz faces current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.

Zingano (9-1) will be returning to competition for the first time since February of last year as she was defeated by Ronda Rousey in fourteen seconds. Prior to that fight, she had won both of her fights in the UFC by TKO in the third round. Pena (7-2) recently came off suspension from the promotion due to a legal situation away from the sport and she is 3-0 in the promotion. Her last fight came in October at UFC 192 as she scored a decision victory against Jessica Eye.
