A flyweight bout that was recently reported for UFC Fight Night 87 is now official as Paddy Holohan will meet Willie Gates on the May 8 fight card from the Netherlands.
The fight booking was made official by the UFC on Friday morning.
UFC Fight Night 87 will come from the Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands on May 8 and the event will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as Alistair Overeem will meet Andrei Arlovski.
Holohan (12-2-1) has won three of his five fights in the UFC and two of those victories have come by decision. His most recent fight came in October as he was submitted by Louis Smolka in the main event of UFC Fight Night 76. Gates (12-6) will also enter this fight following a defeat as he lost to Dustin Ortiz at UFC Fight Night 73. He is 1-2 in the UFC and the victory came against Darrell Montague at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale.
