Ratings Report: UFC Fight Night 87 draws 656k viewers on FS1, peaked at 805k viewers during main event

UFC Fight Night 87 took place this Sunday at the Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands and was headlined by Alistair Overeem winning his fourth straight fight with a stoppage victory in the second round against Andrei Arlovski.

According to Nielson sources, the main card broadcast on FS1 (2p-4:45p ET) had an average live audience of 656,000 viewers and peaked at 805,000 viewers during the main event.  The viewership from Sunday is up 24 percent over the average of the four prior weekend daytime main cards on FS1 (530,000) and was up 19 percent in the Adult 18-49 (340,000 vs. 286,000).

  • UFC coverage led FS1 to number one among all cable sports networks in viewership and Adult 18-49 demographic between 12-4:45 p.m. ET.
  • On FS1, the preliminary bouts for Sunday afternoon’s UFC Fight Night 87 averaged 494,000 viewers and 257,000 Adult 18-49 demographic from 12-2 p.m. ET making them the most-watched weekend daytime UFC on FS1 Preliminary Card to date in both metrics.
  • The FS1 Pre-Fight Show averaged 188,000 viewers, while the Post Fight Show averaged 230,000 viewers.
