Demetrious Johnson defends flyweight title in co-main event of UFC 201 against Wilson Reis

The co-main event of UFC 201 on July 30 in Atlanta, Georgia will be a title fight as Demetrious Johnson will defend the flyweight title against Wilson Reis.

The fight booking was announced on tonight’s episode of UFC Tonight on FS1.

UFC 201 will come from the Phillips Arena and the event will be headlined by a welterweight title fight as Robbie Lawler defends the UFC 170 pound title against Tyron Woodley.

Johnson (24-2-1) will be making his ninth UFC flyweight title defense against Reis and is coming off a first round victory against Henry Cejudo at UFC 197 last month. Three of his last four wins have come by stoppage and two of those wins have come by submission. Reis (20-6) is coming off a decision win in January against Dustin Ortiz and he is 3-1 in his last four fights. He is 4-2 in the UFC and three of those wins have come by decision.
