The second professional fight for Sam King will take place on Saturday night in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada at the Turvey Convention Center and Lounge as he will meet Ryan Pang at Saturday Night Fights 11.
King (0-1) lost his professional debut in November of last year against Tom O’Connor by submission at Saturday Night Fights 10. During Tuesday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast,” King explained the learning lessons he took from his pro debut in preparations for his fight against Pang.
“There was definitely multiple lessons,” King explained. “It was my first fight in two years so I was a little bit excited coming out of the gate and that effected my performance. Being a professional, you have to take it for what it is really and calm down. Take a more methodical and calm approach to it. There are definitely a couple of lessons I have learned and I am taking from that first fight.
