Bellator 155 will be taking place on Friday night at the CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho and the women’s featherweight bout between Marloes Coenen and Alexis Dufresne has been elevated from the featured preliminary bout to the second fight on the televised main card.
Bellator officials announced the change on Tuesday and with Coenen vs. Dufresne being elevated to the main card, the previously scheduled lightweight bout between Dave Jansen and Marcin Held has been moved from the main card to the featured preliminary bout on Bellator.com.
Coenen (23-6) was initially scheduled to meet Julia Budd on this fight for the inaugural Bellator women’s featherweight title. However, Budd pulled out of the fight two weeks ago and Coenen will now meet Dufresne in a non-title fight. Dufresne (5-2) was scheduled to make her Bellator debut last year, but had to pull out of that fight due to being pregnant. This will be her first fight since having her child and she will be looking to snap a two fight losing streak.
