The World Series of Fighting (WSOF) announced on Thursday that undefeated middleweight Phil Hawes had signed with the promotion and he will make his WSOF debut against Joshua Keys next month at WSOF 31.
The fight booking was announced in a press release on Friday.
WSOF 31 will come from the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut on June 17 and will be headlined by a title fight as Blagoy Ivanov defends the heavyweight title against Josh Copeland.
Hawes (3-0) made his pro debut in 2014 at Legacy FC 28 and all of his wins have come by stoppage. He was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 23 and was eliminated from the competition in the opening round against Andrew Sanchez. Keys (6-11, 2NC) will be making his WSOF debut as well and he enters this fight with back to back defeats. His most recent defeat came in March as he lost a split decision against Mike Winters.
