Titan FC featherweight champion Andre Harrison will be returning to the Titan FC cage next month in South Florida as he will be defending the 145 pound title against Deivison Ribeiro in the co-main event of Titan FC 39.
Harrison (12-0) is coming off a successful title defense against Steve Siler at Titan FC 37 in March and this will be his third Titan FC featherweight title defense. Prior to his fight against Ribeiro being booked for the upcoming Titan FC 39 card, he was a guest on “The MMA Report Podcast” and talked about why he has not received a contract offer from the UFC.
“I get asked that on a regular basis,” Harrison stated. “If not every day, then definitely every other day. ‘When are you going? What is your record again? When are you going?’ And I am like, if it was up to me, I would be there, but clearly not. For whatever reason, the timing is just not there yet. When it’s right, I will be there and I will do what I need to do. But until then, I am just going to try to progress the best way possible.”
