The professional debut of Amy Coleman came at the beginning of last year and she will step into the cage for the second time in her professional career on Saturday night in Tennessee as she will meet Annie DeCrescente at Valor Fights 33.
Coleman (1-0) won her pro debut by stoppage at Valor Fights 18 against Jessica Zomcik and ended up suffering an injury last summer that caused her to have surgery. When she steps into the cage on Saturday night, it will have been 469 days since her last fight and she stated on last Thursday’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast” that she is ready to get her career going again.
“I am just ready to get back in there and get my career going again,” Coleman stated. “I turn 30 tomorrow so I am not really one of these super young girls coming out that is like 21 and just getting there career going. I want to take off. So I am kind of anxious to step in there and increase my record. Hopefully get a contract with one of the bigger promotions pretty soon.”
