Micah Miller will return to competition tonight inside the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Florida as he will meet Kenny Gadreau in a welterweight bout at Titan FC 39.
Miller (19-8) was scheduled to make his Titan FC debut in April, but his opponent pulled out of the fight and Miller did not receive a new opponent. Miller will be looking to snap a two fight losing streak in this fight and one of the challenges he will face tonight is a height disadvantage. He talked about this on Wednesday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast” and explained why he believes this is a fight that could pack a lot of action.
“Well I know that pretty well because I am always offering those challenges to everyone I am fighting,” Miller said on The MMA Report Podcast. “The reach is always going to be a big factor in the standup, but I think people underestimate the grappling goes. It’s definitely different as far as some of the positions that you can lock up. I find that when two tall guys going against each other. Two lengthy guys go against each other, you see more action really. I think both of us are guys that have a good track record as far as submissions and things like that. I think it will be a good fight.”
