Michael Bisping responds to fighters calling him out and PED accusations by Chris Weidman

Michael Bisping became the UFC middleweight champion nearly one month ago when he defeated Luke Rockhold by stoppage in the opening round at UFC 199 and since becoming the champion, several fighters have called him out including Dan Henderson.

With all of the call outs by various UFC fighters, Michael Bisping responded to those fighters during last night’s edition of “UFC Tonight” on FS1.

“I think I am a nice guy. I go through life, I am respectful to people and I never trash talk,” Bisping stated on UFC Tonight. “And everyone wants to fight me. It was bad before I had the belt. Now since I got it, everybody wants to fight me. You know what, you can take the damn thing back. Everybody wants to punch me. I don’t know. It’s upsetting me. It really is.”

Obviously, there was a lot of sarcasm in the quote about. After responding to all of the fighters calling him out, Kenny Florian asked Bisping about former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman accusing him of being on performance enhancing drugs.

“This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my life,” Bisping stated about his online chatter with Weidman. “Just because I beat somebody that Chris could not beat, he accuses me of being on steroids. I am a guy that has probably been tested more times than anybody else throughout the history of the UFC. I have been in this sport for over ten years. I have never tested positive. I have never come close to testing positive. This is absolutely ridiculous.”

“Come on Chris. You are an intelligent guy,” he continued. “Surely you can do better than that. He said this week that I took his title. ‘Remember Mike, remember whose title you took.’ I am like, no Chris, I did not take your title. I took it from Luke Rockhold. The guy who took it off you when he beat the living daylights out of you. Get a grip Chris. You are starting to sound pathetic.”
