Yair Rodriguez vs. Alex Caceres official as main event of UFC Fight Night 92

The UFC will be heading to Salt Lake City, Utah in August and the main event of the fight card is now official as Yair Rodriguez will meet Alex Caceres in a featherweight bout.

The fight booking was made official by the UFC on Wednesday and the promotion also announced five other bouts for the fight card with the matchups being Cub Swanson vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri, Court McGee vs. Dominique Steele, Zak Cummings vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio, Marcin Tybura vs. Viktor Pesta and Thales Leites vs. Chris Camozzi.

UFC Fight Night 92 will come from the Vivint Smart Home Arena on August 6 and tickets for the event will go on sale on Friday, June 24.

Rodriguez (8-1) won The Ultimate Fighter Latin America featherweight tournament in 2014 and is currently on a five fight winning streak. His most recent win came in April against Andre Fili by knockout and that victory scored him a Performance of the Night bonus. Caceres (12-8, 1NC) has won back to back fights since returning to the featherweight division. Both of those wins have come by decision and his most recent win came earlier this month against Cole Miller.
