Bellator 158 will be taking place in London, England on Saturday and the promotion will be receiving regulatory support from the Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulations and Association of Boxing Commissions President Mike Mazzulli.
The announcement of regulatory support from the Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulations and Mazzulli was announced by Bellator in a press release on Wednesday.
“I couldn’t be more pleased to have the Mohegan commission’s involvement in Bellator’s upcoming international event,” Bellator Director of Regulatory Affairs and ISKA President, Cory Schafer said in the press release. “It will help establish a level of regulatory consistency that clearly serves the best interest of the promotion and the athletes. We look forward to very successful and well-regulated event.”
Mazzulli and the Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulations will be conducting the drug testing for this event and fighters will be subject to pre and post fight testing.
Bellator 158 will come from the O2 Arena in London and the event will air in the United States at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Spike.
