The highly anticipated rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones will take place in seven days at UFC 200 in Las Vegas when the two light heavyweights will fight for the undisputed UFC light heavyweight champion.
The first meeting between Jones and Cormier took place at the beginning of 2015 at UFC 182 as Jones won by unanimous decision to retain the UFC light heavyweight title. Just a couple of months after that victory, Jones was stripped of the UFC title due to issues away from the octagon and Cormier ended up defeating Anthony Johnson at UFC 187 to claim the vacant title.
Initially, they were supposed to meet at UFC 197 in April. However, Cormier had to pull out of the fight due to an injury and Jones ended up defeating Ovince Saint Preux by decision to claim the interim UFC light heavyweight title.
