A women’s bantamweight bout has been added to the UFC 202 fight card later this month in Las Vegas as Cortney Casey will meet Randa Markos on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday.
UFC 202 will come from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 20 and will be headlined by a rematch in the welterweight division as Nate Diaz meets current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
Casey (5-3) snapped a two fight losing streak last month as she defeated Cristina Stanciu at UFC Fight Night 91. All of her wins have come by stoppage and three of those victories have come by TKO/KO. Markos (6-3) will also enter this fight following a win as she defeated Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger at UFC Fight Night 89. She is 2-2 in the UFC and all of her stoppage victories have come by submission.
