Friday’s Titan FC 40 fight card has seen another change as Preston Parsons has pulled out of the event due to undisclosed reasons and stepping up on short notice to face Sabah Homasi will be Ladariuos Jackson.
The fight change was announced by Titan FC on Wednesday and the promotion also revealed that Chino Duran has pulled out of his bout against Bruce Lutchmedial.
Titan FC 40 will come from the BankUnited Center on Friday night and the event will be headlined by a title fight as Gesias “JZ” Cavalcante defends the lightweight title against Freddy Assuncao.
Jackson (5-2, 1NC) is unbeaten in his last five fights and is coming off a decision win last month at RFC 37 against Vince McGuinness. Four of his five wins have come by decision and his only stoppage win came via TKO against Giovanni Carrillo last year. Homasi (10-5) has won back to back fights and is coming off a TKO win against Vitor Regis Eustaquio at Titan FC 39. Nine of his ten wins have come by stoppage and seven of those wins have by TKO/KO.
