ONE Championship will be returning to the Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on September 2 for ONE Championship 47: Unbreakable Warriors and the event will be headlined by a featherweight bout as Malaysia’s own Ev Ting will meet Rob Lisita.
The fight booking was announced by ONE Championship on Wednesday in a press release.
“There is always a tremendous atmosphere and excitement in Kuala Lumpur each time ONE Championship comes to visit,” ONE Championship CEO Victor Cui said in a press release. “This time, Malaysian MMA stars the likes of Ev Ting, Peter Davis, Ann Osman, Agilan Thani, Gianni and Keanu Subba will all grace the ONE Championship cage in one night, ready to set the Stadium Negara ablaze with excitement and world-class mixed martial arts action. ONE: UNBREAKABLE WARRIORS will be a historic evening for Kuala Lumpur, and we can’t wait to be there.”
Ting (11-3) has won back to back fights and five of his last six fights. His most recent win came in January at ONE Championship 38 as he defeated Eric Kelly by submission in the third round. Lisita (14-8) enters this fight with three straight defeats and is coming off a knockout lost against Timofey Nastyukhin. His last win came at ONE Championship 15 in 2014 as he defeated Yusuke Kawanago by knockout.
