The main event of tonight’s Bellator 160 will be a lightweight bout as former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson meets former Bellator featherweight champion Patricio “Pitbull” Freire in a title eliminator fight and John McCarthy will the third man in the cage.
California State Athletic Commission Executive Director Andy Foster confirmed to The MMA Report on Friday that McCarthy will be the referee for the main event. Along with assigning McCarthy as the referee, Foster has assigned Chris Crail, Ron McCarthy and Mike Bell to be the judges for the fight.
Bellator 160: Henderson vs. Pitbull will come from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California tonight and the fight card lineup is below.
