Sean Strickland recently pulled out of his UFC 202 bout against Tim Means due to an injury and stepping up on short notice to meet Means on next weekend’s fight card in Las Vegas will be Ultimate Fighter 21 alum Sabah Homasi.
The fight change was recently announced by the UFC.
UFC 202 will come from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 20 and will be headlined by a rematch in the welterweight division as Nate Diaz meets current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
Homasi (11-5) is currently on a three fight winning streak and is coming off a win against Jorge Patino last Friday night at Titan FC 40. He is 6-1 in his last seven fights and ten of his eleven career victories are by stoppage. Means (25-7-1) has won five of his last six fights and is coming off a win in December against Tim Means at UFC Fight Night 80. His last three victories have come by stoppage and two of those wins have come by TKO/KO/
