The World Series of Fighting has added Ramsey Nijem to their lightweight division as the Ultimate Fighter 13 finalist has signed an exclusive, multi-fight promotional agreement with the Las Vegas based promotion.

The signing of Nijem was announced by the World Series of Fighting in a press release on Monday.

“We have been aggressively pursuing some of the best available fight talent on the market and as a phenomenal and established competitor, Ramsey Nijem should make an exciting addition to our stacked, 155-pound division,” said World Series of Fighting President Ray Sefo.

Nijem (9-6) enters the World Series of Fighting following back to back defeats in the UFC and five of his nine career victories have come by stoppage. He went 5-5 in the UFC and holds a stoppage victory over Beneil Dariush.

The World Series of Fighting debut of Nijem will be announced by the promotion in the coming weeks.

With Carlos Silva as the WSOF CEO, the WSOF is making some very sound moves from an outsiders looking in point of view. I imagine one of the most sound thing that is happening with the WSOF with Carlos Silva as the CEO is getting the contracts money under control. And a common sense simple move like that could be the world of difference to the WSOF. Looking forward to seeing Ramsey Nijem continue his journey in the WSOF.
