A lightweight bout has been booked for November’s UFC Fight Night 101 in Melbourne, Australia as The Ultimate Fighter Nations alum Jake Matthews will meet Andrew Holbrook.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on early Friday morning.
UFC Fight Night 101 will come from the Rod Laver Arena on November 27 (November 26 in United States) and will be headlined by a middleweight rematch as former UFC champion Luke Rockhold meets Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza.
Matthews (10-2) enters this fight following a TKO defeat against Kevin Lee in July and the defeat snapped a two fight winning streak. Holbrook (11-1) will also come into this fight following a defeat in July against Joaquim Silva at The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale.
