The final event for Bellator MMA took place this past Friday night in Dublin, Ireland and the viewership of 699,000 viewers in the +3 DVR ratings for Bellator 169 makes it the most-watched Bellator MMA international event to date.
Spike officials announced the +3 DVR numbers in a press release sent to The MMA Report on Wednesday and the fight card peaked at 965,000 viewers during the co-main event bout between James Gallagher and Anthony Taylor.
Bellator 169 took place at the 3Arena in Dublin and was headlined by Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal remaining undefeated in heavyweight bouts as he defeated Satoshi Ishii by unanimous decision. Following the fight card, Bellator MMA announced that Lawal will be returning to competition at the end of the month as he will participate in the Rizin FF open weight tournament and will face Mirko Cro Cop in the opening round of that tournament.
