The main event of Friday’s Victory FC 55 on UFC Fight Pass will be a rematch as Dakota Cochrane will look for his second victory over Jake Lindsey on the fight card coming from the Kansas ExpoCentre in Topeka, Kansas.
The initial meeting between the fighters came at Victory FC 47 in early 2016 and Cochrane (26-10) scored a guillotine choke submission victory in the third round. Since their initial meeting, Cochrane has gone 3-1 and is coming off a submission victory against Jos Eichelberger at Legacy FC 60 in October.
During last week’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Cochrane was a guest on the podcast to preview his rematch set for Friday night at Victory FC 55 and explained why he feels there is not much to gain in this rematch.
