The main event of Saturday’s Apex Fights 13 will be a title fight as Justin Goodin will meet Billy Swanson for the amateur heavyweight title on the fight card coming from the Soddy Daisy Wrestling Arena in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee.
Goodin (4-2) made his amateur debut in 2006 and this will be his first fight since losing to Gavin Walker at Valor Fights 30 in February of last year. Prior to that defeat, he had won back to back fights and both of those wins came by stoppage in the opening round.
On this edition of “The MMA Report Podcast Extra,” Goodin previews his fight against Swanson for the Apex Fights amateur heavyweight title and stated that Swanson is standing in the way of his dreams.
