The main event of Friday’s CES MMA 42 will be a title fight as Chris Curtis will defend the welterweight title against Wilfredo Santiago on the fight card coming from the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island.
Curtis (14-5) won the CES MMA welterweight title last yeat at CES MMA 32 as he submitted Gil de Freitas in the opening round and this will be his first title defense. He enters this fight following a victory outside of CES MMA as he scored a decision against Leo Bercier at Final Fight Championship 24.
During this week’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Curtis was a guest on the podcast to preview his title defense on Friday against Santiago in the main event of CES MMA 42.
