The co-main event of next week’s Titan FC 44 will be an interim lightweight title fight as former Titan FC lightweight champion JZ Cavalcante meets Kurt Holobaugh on the fight card coming from the Pembroke Pines Civic Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
Cavalcante (21-9-1, 2NC) won the Titan FC lightweight title last year when he defeated Pat Healy by knockout at Titan FC 39. He would end up losing the title at Titan FC 40 against Freddy Assuncao and enters this fight following a decision win against Robert Turnquest at Titan FC 42.
During the latest episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Cavalcante was a guest on the podcast to preview his interim lightweight title fight against Holobaugh at Titan FC 44.
