559 Fights 57 will take place next Friday night (July 14) and the event will be headlined by a title fight as Jaime Mora makes his first flyweight title defense as he is challenged by Paul Elizondo on the fight card coming from Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, California.
Mora (5-0) made his amateur debut last year and became the 559 Fights amateur flyweight champion earlier this year at 559 Fights 56 as he defeated Austin Liu by submission in the first round. The submission victory against Liu was his second victory by submission as his first submission win came in his amateur debut against Joey Martinez.
On this edition of “The MMA Report Podcast Extra,” Mora previews his title fight next week at 559 Fights 57 against Elizondo and explained why he feels this is the toughest fight of his career.
