The main event of Friday’s Bellator 184 will be a title fight as Darrion Caldwell will look to claim the bantamweight title when he challenges champion Eduardo Dantas for the 135 pound title on the fight card coming from the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
Caldwell (9-1, 1NC) has gone 5-1, 1NC in Bellator since entering the promotion in 2013 and is coming off a decision victory against Joe Taimanglo at Bellator 167. He was originally scheduled to challenge Dantas earlier this year, but that fight did not take place at that time.
During this week’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Caldwell was a guest on the podcast to preview his matchup against Dantas and at the end of the interview, he makes his prediction on when and how he will defeat Dantas.
