Former Bellator featherweight champion Pat Curran will return to competition for the first time in sixteen months on Friday night at Bellator 184 as he will look for his third straight victory when he meets John Teixeira.
Curran (22-7) was initially scheduled to meet Teixeira last year at Bellator 167, but an injury forced him out of the fight. Since pulling out of that fight, Curran had surgery to recovery from his injury and he will be looking to put himself back into title contention with a victory over Teixeira.
During this week’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Curran was a guest on the podcast to preview his fight against Teixeira at Bellator 184 and talked about his road back from the injury that kept him on the sidelines.
