The fourth UFC fight for Marvin Vettori will take place on Saturday in Las Vegas at UFC 219 as he will meet Omari Akhmedov on the fight card coming from the T-Mobile Arena.
Vettori (12-3) made his UFC debut in August of last year and he has won two of his three fights in the promotion. He enters UFC 219 following a decision win in June against Vitor Miranda at UFC Fight Night 112 and eight of his twelve career wins have come by submission.
During last week’s podcast, Vettori was a guest on the podcast to preview his fight against Akhmedov on Saturday at UFC 219. Along with previewing his fight, he also talked about spending some time at the UFC Performance Institute.
“It’s awesome. You feel like people really take care of you there,” Vettori said about the UFC Performance Institute. “You can go to PT whenever you want. There is a lot of stuff for recovery. The facility is great for training and you have plenty of space.”
