The main event of CES MMA NY will be a welterweight bout as Matt Secor will look for his tenth career victory when he meets UFC vet Renee Forte on the fight card coming from The Space in Westbury, New York on May 4.
Secor (9-5) will be making his CES MMA debut in this fight and is coming off a decision lost in November at Bellator 186 against Logan Storley. He has alternated wins and losses in his last four fights and eight of his nine wins have come by submission.
Earlier this week, I had a chance to speak with Secor about his fight in two weeks at CES MMA NY against Forte. Along with discussing this fight, he told me about becoming a police officer and his love for jiu-jitsu.
