LFA 42 took place on Friday night inside the Branson Convention Center in Branson, Missouri and the fight card was headlined by former LFA welterweight champion Derrick Krantz scoring a split decision victory over Kassius Kayne.
The victory by Krantz (22-10) marks his second straight victory as he entered this fight following a decision win in March against Artenas Young at Rite of Passage 3 and he’s now won five of his last six fights. For Kayne (12-5), the defeat snaps a two fight winning streak and he’s now 4-3 in his last seven fights.
In the co-main event of the fight card, Jaleel Willis (9-1) only needed 70-seconds to score a TKO victory against Chel Erwin-Davis and this is the 5th career victory for Willis by stoppage. The rest of the main card on AXS TV saw victories by Jaimee Nievera, Josh Marsh, Charles Johnson, Lucas Clay, and Julius Anglickas.
