The MMA Report Podcast: Jon Jones Drug Testing and UFC 232 Preview

It’s been an interesting couple of days for the UFC and Jon Jones and on this week’s The MMA Report Podcast, Jason Floyd and Daniel Galvan give their thoughts on what’s going on with the former UFC light heavyweight champion and Saturday’s UFC 232.

At the start of the show, Jason and Daniel discuss how they found out about the drug testing issue with Jon Jones, which ultimately led to the fight card moving from Las Vegas, Nevada to Inglewood, California. They give their thoughts on the entire situation, plus you will hear comments from UFC Vice President of Athlete Health and Performance Jeff Novitzky and California State Athletic Commission Executive Director Andy Foster.

Following their discussion on the drug testing of Jones, they preview the entire UFC 232 fight card. They tell you their picks for the title fights, which fights interest them on the prelims, and why they feel a good amount of MMA fans will be rooting for B.J. Penn.

UFC will never release the Diaz bros and Woodley because they would sign with Bellator. So why not trade them to Bellator for: Chandler, Daley, Kharitonov, Danis, Gallengher? Also trade UFC’s women’s featherweight division for Fedor. And what I mean by women’s featherweight division are Cyborg n Anderson. They are the only natural women’s featherweights UFC has.

    True or False for 2019?

Ben Rothwell and Fabricio Werdum will be granted their releases from the UFC?

At least one of these MMA legends will come out of retirement. Cung Le, Frank Shamrock, Ian Freeman, Ricardo Arona?

Cyborg doesn’t re sign with UFC and they get rid of women’s featherweight?

Cro Cop has at least one more fight in Bellator after the Nelson rematch?

Btw is Cro Cop’s deal with Bellator a one fight deal?

Reason you do not trade them (Diaz brothers) is because they are valuable fighters that bring people to pay-per-views.
