CES MMA lightweight champion Nate Andrews has his sights set on the UFC in 2019

CES MMA 54 will take place on Saturday afternoon at the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island and the fight card will be headlined by a title fight as Nate Andrews will defend the lightweight title against Bryce Logan.

Andrews (14-1) won the vacant CES MMA lightweight title last year against Chris Padilla and is coming off a submission victory against D’Juan Owens at CES MMA 51. The victory over Owens extended his winning streak to eight fights and Saturday will mark his 15th fight to take place in CES MMA.

On this edition of The MMA Report Podcast Extra, Andrews speaks with Jason Floyd about his fight on Saturday. And during their conversation, Andrews explained his goal for 2019 is the same goal he’s being chasing since he started fighting: Make it to the UFC.
