Marcin Held was originally scheduled to meet Ricardo Tirloni on the preliminary card of Bellator 101 but Tirloni was moved into the tournament to replace an injured Rob Sinclair and Held will now face Ryan Healy.
Bellator made the new fight official yesterday when they officially announced that Tirloni was moved into the tournament.
Bellator 101 takes place on September 27th from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon and will be headlined by Cheick Kongo making his Bellator debut in the season nine heavyweight tournament semifinals against Mark Godbeer.
Healy (23-12-1) has been fighting professionally since 2002 and has competed in WEC, Strikeforce, Super Fight League and Score Fighting Series. He has won three of his last five fights and this will be the first time he steps into the cage since he lost a decision to Jesse Ronson at Score Fighting Series 7 last November.
Held (15-3) is a veteran of the Bellator tournament as he has appeared in two tournaments and made it to the final of the season seven tournament. He was defeated by Dave Jansen in the final and the defeat snapped a five fight winning streak.
