A heavyweight bout has been added to UFC 168 on December 28th in Las Vegas as Josh Barnett will meet Travis Browne. 
UFC officials confirmed the fight booking on Wednesday afternoon after it was reported by the Las Vegas Journal Review.
UFC 168 will take place from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on December 28th and will be headlined by Chris Weidman defending the UFC middleweight title against former champion Anderson Silva.
Barnett (33-6) recently returned to the UFC and defeated former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir by TKO at UFC 164. It was his second straight win and he has won ten of his last eleven fights.
Browne (15-1-1) has also won back to back fights and is 6-1-1 in the UFC. He most recently defeated Alistair Overeem by knockout in the first round at UFC Fight Night 26 and he has won the knockout of the night bonus in his last two fights.
