An injury has forced Luke Rockhold to pull out of his UFC 166 bout against Tim Boetsch and replacing him in the bout will be C.B. Dollaway.
The news of the injury and Dollaway stepping in was announced on Wednesday night’s edition of UFC Tonight on Fox Sports 1.
UFC 166 takes place on October 19th from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will be headlined by Cain Velasquez defending the UFC heavyweight title in his trilogy bout with former champion Junior dos Santos.
Dollaway (13-4) has won back to back fights since dropping two in a row in 2011. His last two wins have come by decision with his most recent victory coming at the beginning of the year when he scored a split decision victory against Daniel Sarafian.
Boetsch (16-6) has lost back to back fights after being on a four fight winning streak in the UFC middleweight division. His most recent defeat came at UFC 162 earlier this month when he lost a decision to Mark Munoz.
