In the first lightweight tournament semifinal, Tiger Sarnavskiy would only needed 68 seconds to defeat Ricardo Tirloni to advance to the lightweight tournament final.
Sarnavskiy opened the fight by landing a spinning back fist that dropped Tirloni and appeared close to getting the finish. However, Tirloni would survive and reverse the position.
While on his back, Sarnavskiy immediately put his legs up and locked in a triangle choke. Tirloni would be unable to escape the attempt and Sartnavskiy scored the finish at the 1:08 mark of the opening round.
Sarnavskiy (25-1) has won five straight since losing his Bellator debut to Rich Clementi, and four of those wins have come by submission.
