The main event of UFC 170 on February 22nd in Las Vegas is now set as former UFC champion Rashad Evans will meet Daniel Cormier in a light heavyweight bout.
The fight booking was announced during the UFC Fight Night 33 Pre-Fight show on Fox Sports 2.
UFC 170 will come from the Mandalay Bay Events Center on February 22nd and tickets for the card will be going on sale shortly.
Evans (19-3-1) has won back to back fights and six of his last eight fights. He is coming off a first round victory against Chael Sonnen at UFC 167 and this fight will mark the 13th straight fight that he has been in either the main or co-main event of a UFC fight card.
Cormier (13-0) is dropping down to the light heavyweight division after winning two fights in the UFC heavyweight division. Both of those wins came by decision and his most recent victory came at UFC 166 against Ultimate Fighter 10 winner Roy Nelson.
